The World’s Largest Wild Boar

The largest wild boar in the world can be found in the north of France, in Ardennes region, and is called Woinic. It weighs 50 tons, measures 10 meters high, 13 meters long and 5 meters wide! This gigantic statue was done by French self-taught artist Eric Sléziak. The statue embodies both the most emblematic animal of the region and its historical metallurgic heritage.
